From the Pastor's Desk...
Welcome to Hephzibah UMC! If you have ever needed a family in which to belong, this is it. My family and I know this firsthand. We just moved here, and from day one, we were welcomed into this wonderful family with more love than we ever could have imagined. I have no doubt that your experience will be the same, because the evidence shows that love grows here.
As a United Methodist community, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. For more than 150 years the people of Hephzibah UMC have gathered to celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ. It is because of the continued witness of this deep abiding faith that our lives and the lives of others continue to be transformed today. We have learned that our faith is lived out as love. We have indeed been loved by God, and it is our desire to share with you the love with which we ourselves have been given.
God is doing great things at Hephzibah UMC. I have no doubt that the LORD delights in what is happening here. My family and I are honored to have been sent here to take part in what God is doing among this loving family. It is our hope that you will come and take part. Won't you join us?
