Valentine Luncheon – Next Sunday, February 14, 2010, after the worship service to share a delicious meal and loving fellowship. It’s potluck, so bring your favorite dish as you are able. Everyone is invited. Happy Valentine's Day
Scout Sunday Next Sunday - We are blessed with an outstanding Scout Ministry at HUMC. The scouts will help lead our worship service. Also, we have 8 scouts who will be awarded the religion badge for their accomplishment in completing the “God and Me” course and curriculum.
Passionate Worship Discussion Groups – Come be a part of the conversation as God works among us to cultivate Passionate Worship beyond what we have known before. See Gary Sutton and Pastor T. G. about joining a group that will be meeting this week.
Haiti Emergency – Thank you so much for your generosity! You have given $1,455.00 to date to help in UMCOR’s ministry of Haiti. 100% of the money is being used to offer the Haitians relief from their suffering and for redevelopment that will give a better future. You may continue to make donations for this effort. Also, please see Pastor T. G. if you are interested in going with a mission team to Haiti to help in the recovery.
Released Time Christian Education –
Class are on Thursdays. We have 80 students joining us each week. Please keep this ministry in your prayers.
Outreach – Do you have extra sweaters or throws? We are collecting these items to donate to local nursing homes to help keep the elderly warm and comfortable. Please see Ellen for details.
